Aspirants looking for admission in medical schools should ensure that they have NEET full form and other essential details handy. NEET has replaced the state entrance tests AIPMT and NBHM conducted by state governments. NEET was first scheduled to be held on May 5, 2013 but was postponed for a year by the Medical Council of India. Despite the postponement, over 10 lakh students had already registered for the exam.
