Aspirants looking for admission in medical schools should ensure that they have NEET full form and other essential details handy. NEET has replaced the state entrance tests AIPMT and NBHM conducted by state governments. NEET was first scheduled to be held on May 5, 2013 but was postponed for a year by the Medical Council of India. Despite the postponement, over 10 lakh students had already registered for the exam. However, in August 2013, the Supreme Court cancelled the exam due to technical reasons.

To take the entrance exam, candidates must be a citizen of India or a person of Indian origin. Other eligibility criteria include a minimum age of 17 years and a maximum age of 30 years for candidates from OBC/SC/ST categories. Age limit is also a factor, so applicants should make sure they are at least 17 years of age on December 31 of the admission year. The age limit can vary depending on the category.

Students should familiarize themselves with the full form of NEET before applying for the exam. This exam is mandatory for all students planning to pursue a medical degree. This test consists of multiple-choice questions, and answers must be completed in order to qualify. Once a student has passed the exam, they can apply for their preferred medical college. You should also know the date and venue of the entrance test in order to plan your exam accordingly.

NEET is the only medical entrance exam in India. In fact, many prestigious medical institutes now require that students pass NEET in order to gain entry to their medical courses. It replaced multiple entrance exams in India, including the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). And as a result of the One Nation, One Examination policy, NEET has become the only national exam for medical students. This is why NEET is so important.

The NEET test is a national exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the government body responsible for administering the test. To apply for medical college, you must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream. This means that you have a good knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Also, the NEET score is very important for state quota counseling, as it determines the eligibility to study medicine in that particular state.

The NEET exam has no specific preparation method, but it is recommended that candidates solve MCQs to become familiar with the questions. NCERT textbooks are a great source of information, but candidates should also focus on solving past years’ question papers and sample papers. Aim to solve as many question papers as possible. The more you practise, the better. And, the more you know, the easier it will be to score high in the exam.

If you’ve completed the exam, you’ll be eligible to begin the counseling process. In general, the counseling process will consist of three rounds of registration. Once all of the government seats are filled, the State Counseling Authority will fill the remaining 85 per cent of the state quota seats. For the most part, the registration process takes place through an online platform. Moreover, the online portion will be very user-friendly and quick, making the process of registration a breeze for candidates.
